ALVEI

Alvei is an Italian method sparkling wine, fragrant and rich with fresh notes of crisp fruit, orange blossom and acacia. It is perfect for all simple and happy convivial moments. The name is a tribute to our Via Calbin and its "Valle dei Mulini ('Valley of the Mills') a fascinating place where we are located. It was a site of trade and interaction, where you could breathe a vibrant and intense life, now a destination for healthy walks. It was the Callis Alvei of its origins.

  • IN THE VINEYARD
    Pergola-trained vines on medium-textured soils, located in the hilly area of ​​Mossano. The average production is 80 quintals \ ha with a yield of 70% in wine.
  • THE VINIFICATION
    The grapes are hand picked in the middle of September, when they aren't too mature to preserve freshness in flavour and high acidity. The must stays in direct contact with its pomace for 12 hours with low temperature in order to extract a light colour and a lot of flavours, then the white fermentation can take place. The second fermentation to make bubbles, takes place in a large pressure-resistant stainless steel vats where the wine rests for 3 months.
  • THE WINE
    Greenish yellow with lively and persistent perlage. Fresh and intense notes of crunchy fruit, the apple above all, but also floral notes of acacia and orange blossom. Fresh and light, perfect for an aperitif with its medium body with a slight sugary aftertaste, which labels this wine as a Brut.
